About this article:"This review article  covers the controversy of Linezolid vs glycopeptides for the treatment of severe MRSA pneumonia.  Although clinical studies are inconclusive., animal studies in a model of mecahnically ventilated piglet shows differences in favor of  Linezolid compared to vancomycin and teicoplanin. These differences were attributed to  other factors than direct antimicrobial  properties."

In the third period and, after achieving a 95% of  prevention measures compliance, VAP zero  was possible. It seems that the efforts and resources applied to get VAP zero are very considerable. In our opinion VAP zero is impossible to achieve since we can not modify the host variables that predispose to this lung infection "
