About this article:"This review article covers the controversy of Linezolid vs glycopeptides for the treatment of severe MRSA pneumonia. About this article:"In 43% of tracheal aspirate surveilance samples, microorganisms coincided with VAP etiology in this retrospective observational study. In my opinion surveillance samples may confound clinicians about the type of empiric antibiotic treatment. New direct and quick methods of microorganism detection are strongly recommended"

Marra AR. et al
About this article: "This is a three phase period interventional study to implement evidence based measures to prevent VAP. In the third period and, after achieving a 95% of prevention measures compliance, VAP zero was possible. It seems that the efforts and resources applied to get VAP zero are very considerable. In our opinion VAP zero is impossible to achieve since we can not modify the host variables that predispose to this lung infection "
